Chair-ity Event—Thursday, Feb. 15th, 11:30am!

Parents 

A request recently arose from the charity in Cleveland (actually called Chairity) for whom the hockey team provided services in October of 2023. 

That request was to assist one of their clients with a move to a new apartment due to a change in circumstances and living arrangements.  

We represented that we might be able to help with that move. 

So, tomorrow, 8 players and 2 coaches (Brian and I) and  a college student from my office (Alec) will assist Maria and Jaz from Chairity with an apartment move. We will meet at 11:30AM at 102 First St (above the Tomato Grill) to leave for Cleveland. 

We expect the work will take 2 hours and will have the participants back in Hudson by 3:30 and in time for practice. 

We will provide the transportation to Cleveland and work and supervise throughout the time. 

The assistance we will provide is an immense help to this young mother who has very limited support in life. 

My law partners and I will also provide her with some basic needs (diapers, wipes, clothing) for her newborn. Suzanne Wallace from the office is helping with that as we have very limited skills in this area. 

I apologize for the late notice on this as it came together quickly. The team’s efforts and willingness to help is really a testament to their character. We are really proud of them.
